HCG Diet Review 34: I Lost a Total of 34 Pounds in 40 Days

Day 1: It’s my official day with HCG diet! I started doing the hcg diet protocol weighing 226.2 pounds. It’s a big number. But I am very confident to see some good results. My sister did the hcg diet and she lost a bunch of weight after 3 rounds of HCG. She’s 50 years old already. My dad also lost a bunch of weight and he’s 76. Hopefully, at the end of the program, I will see results.

My box arrived 5 days ago. I was so excited that I opened it right away. I was so thankful that the box had arrived on time.

It’s my official loading day too…I gorge more on FATS. Bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese-I’m going to miss them all. Well, I ate some pizza though, about 3 slices for the midnight snack.

Day 2: I think I ate too much and I’m starting to not feel good. I feel very heavy and full. I don’t want to eat anymore.

Day 3: Day #1 of very low calorie diet. I just drink 1 cup of coffee and nothing else. No problem. I didn’t feel hungry in the morning. I put on additional 6 pounds from gorging days.  My weight is 230.2 pounds now. I got hungry at around lunchtime. I had chicken, strawberries, breadstick and sliced cucumber for lunch. I was oddly satisfied with that. But late in the afternoon, I got hungry and even hungrier late at night. My sister warned me already that this can happen during the first few days but it will get better.

Day 7: I lost 11.4 pounds and I couldn’t believe what I saw on the scale. Actually, I prefer to not do the weighing in every day. I was out last night and when I opt for my favorite jeans, I need to pull the belt one hole backward.

Fast forward….

Day 20: I threw everything in my cupboards and fridge that has MSG and sugar.

Day 40: My final weight is 196.2 pounds. I lost a total of 34 pounds in 40 days. This was my goal, to lose around 30-40 pounds. My blood pressure dropped from 140+/90+ to 115/ 80. By the way, I stopped with my medication during the 7th days into the protocol. My body fat also went from 35.5% to 25%-26%.

Maintenance phase: I eat healthily and I cooked most of my meal. I ate a lot of organic foods too. Altering my diet wasn’t that big deal. I feel great!
