Cory had always been athletic. When she got married she stopped working out but still managed to keep her weight under control even after the birth of her first child. However, when she was pregnant with her second child, she went through some difficult personal issues that she turned to foods for comfort while watching the number on the scale goes up without doing anything at all. Things had gotten out of control even after she gave birth. She was diagnosed with post-partum depression and struggled to find her identity. She basically self-medicated with food until she reaches her highest weight of 240 pounds.
She felt like she was a stranger in her own body and literally, didn’t recognize her reflection in the mirror. With only two kids, she looked more mature than her real age. When she saw photos of herself, she felt disgusted and vowed to find a sustainable way to lose the pounds she had gained during her pregnancy.
Cory started having positive social interactions and emotional support to help her cope with depression. Then she decided to start working out at home along with having a crash diet in the hope of losing weight but soon realizes that crash dieting never helps. It only leads her to gain more weight. Her energy level was depleted that it only took her three days doing the crash diet and working out together. After one week doing the crash diet, food obsession starts to affect her personal and social life that she spent most of her days obsessing about food.
From crush diet to low-carb diet
After quitting the crash diet, she joined the gym to have a proper workout schedule which includes cardio training. She knew it was going to take patience and time, and she was ready for it. However, she finds it hard to balance her gym time schedule with her career and her two children. She then visited a weight loss clinic and was given prescription pills to lose weight. Along with taking the diet pills, she tried intermittent fasting but would end up so hungry before her next meal. She then jumps into a low-carb, high-fat diet from intermittent fasting but was hopeless.
Losing the weight with the HCG Diet
She saw a friend post about her weight loss journey, and she found it very interesting. When she asked her about her weight loss secret, her friend recommended her to do the HCG program. After gathering information about the diet and with newfound determination, she got started with the program. She would give HCG Diet a try and if it didn’t work she would let things be.
Cory followed the protocol as laid out in the comprehensive guide that comes in the kit. Despite the rocky road on her first few days, she successfully settled into the program and was able to lose 9 pounds. The following weeks that came was so easy for her. To her amazement, she wasn’t hungry despite she’s eating only 500 calories a day. She took her weight every day and was very delighted to see the numbers on the scale go down each morning. Her original plan was to do a shorter round, but she eventually found herself ordering for another month’s supply.
Losing almost a hundred pounds
In four months, Cory was able to make two successful rounds on the HCG Diet. She dropped 46 pounds and her stamina and energy level skyrocketed. Her goal was to lose at least another 20 pounds. Her goal-oriented images were to look forward to a beach vacation and to wear an outfit that she likes. After 8 months, Cory dropped almost 100 pounds. While on her last few days on the program, she went through her clothes to get rid of a few things. She found multiple pairs of big pants and extra-large shirts and blouses. Almost all her clothes were too big for her except for the one she had before she had her second child. Her next move was to go shopping for smaller clothes with her friends and post her weight loss journey too just like how she discovered the HCG diet.
Cory loved the program so much and the amazing change it can create to her well-being on a long-term basis. Her old unhealthy eating habits are gone for good. Her advice to anyone who wants to lose weight and improve their health is to do the right diet.
