Total weight loss: 133 pounds

Here is Jilian’s HCG Diet story:

When Jilian became sedentary in her college life her weight piled up. Her problem got worse when she started dating a larger guy. They love going out all the time, and they would order for almost all their meals high fat, high-calorie foods such as cheeseburger with fries or doughnuts and soda for snacks. For dinner or lunch, they would order burrito bowls, a large pizza or their favorite macaroni and cheese pasta. Jilian rarely cooks which put her at 260 pounds.

After graduating from college she had a part-time job as an office assistant. As she was working, she had noticed that almost all the ladies working there were not a hippo like her. She was, in fact, the biggest among them all. So, she decided to cut down on her weight through the HCG Diet which she learned from one of her colleagues there.

Her rewarding rounds with the HCG Diet:

  • Initial weight: 260 pounds + 4 pounds from loading
  • End weight: 197 pounds
  • Number of rounds: 3 rounds
  • Average weight loss per round: 21 pounds
  • Total amount of weight loss: 63 pounds

Here are her details during her first try:

Phase 1:

Jilian decided to load for 3 days because she wasn’t satisfied loading only for 2 days.

Foods loaded on: Pizza, bacon, sausages, fried chicken, chicken Buffalo wings, potato fries, cheeseburgers, and soda

Phase 2:

Round 1 of phase 2 was a bit hard for her due to carbohydrates withdrawal symptoms she has been experiencing. She’s been having a constant headache for the first couple of days. However, all her carb withdrawal symptoms went away after a week because she decided to increase her calorie intake. Instead of consuming only 500 calories a day she increased it to 800 calories. Her second round was not hard compared with her first round.  This time around, she was able to do the diet properly by following the protocol perfectly. She was able to consume 500 calories during the very low-calorie diet without any setbacks.

Her typical meal plan during phase 2

  • Breakfast: coffee with 1 tbsp. milk, tea
  • Snack: a handful of strawberries, ½ grapefruits, apples, orange
  • Lunch: Chicken breast, lean beef patty, Meal replacement shakes, chicken lettuce wraps, asparagus, beet greens, cucumber
  • Snack: 1 fruit serving, 1 carb serving
  • Dinner: Lean ground beef, lean steak, white fish, shrimp and lobsters (all visible fat trimmed), fennels, onions, lettuce, cabbage

Phase 3:

No bread, no pasta, no sugar was no problem for Jilian. She worked up to 1200 calories during P3. She started with 800 calories on her first day and gradually increased it to 1200 calories for the rest of her diet. She slowly reintroduced foods to her diet to see if she will gain weight. There was a time when her weight went up two pounds and she did a “mini steak day” to break a plateau. She started working out and eating healthily for her wasn’t that difficult anymore.

Jilian ended up doing a total of three rounds on the HCG diet and she successfully loses a good amount of weight. She felt happy with the result but guilty at the same time because her boyfriend had to fend for himself. Actually, her boyfriend had been fending himself for a couple of months already.  Her guilt had her and she begins with her unhealthy habits again. Her weight went right back plus some more.

2 years after, her boyfriend distant himself from Jilian and told her that he had feelings for someone else. She felt betrayed, cheated and dumb so she moved out of their apartment and started anew in another city. This time she needed to lose weight for good and literally she had no excuses for not getting rid of her out-of-guilt excess weight.  She was able to do so years ago and she could do it now.

Jilian started another set of weight loss with the HCG Diet during the last quarter of that year and continued with her diet the following first quarter with high hopes that she can finally wear her bathing suit and she did. Over the next two years, she lost 133 pounds, that’s nearly half her size. She now cooks for herself and maintains her weight loss.  She’s more confident than ever and socializes more than the usual.
