My name is Paige, a mother to a beautiful 3 years old daughter Bree. Dieting ever since was not my cup of tea since I was not so big. I had a healthier lifestyle- no alcohol or whatever, no sweet tooth cravings. I even go organics from time to time, love leaner meat and healthy fats. However, things went overboard after I gave birth to my daughter.
In reality, each one of us is supposed to eat only a couple hundred extra calories a day but in my case, I was eating 1000 pounds extra for almost 3 years. Indulging in a couple of comfort foods, not minding eating an extra 1000 pounds was my after pregnancy excused. Needless to say, things have fallen out of control without me realizing it- I was pushing 200 pounds already. I could not stand looking at myself in the mirror hoping a miracle diet would work miraculously overnight in shedding my unwanted weight but such a miracle diet ceased to exist.
I signed up with a personal trainer at the nearby gym, started training two to three times in a week, doing weight lifting, boxing and more but my stubborn after pregnancy weight and fats gained from gorging on extra 1000 plus calories each day are too hard to be removed. I only signed up for more than a month because gym times keep me away from my daughter longer. I have also revamped my diet, have tried ditching processed meat, carbs and opted for leaner meat, healthy fats, and veggies but my weight continues to creep no matter how hard I have tried. I used to be not so slim before getting married but I don’t understand why I can’t lose my weight now. I was at the end of my rope when I decided to try the HCG diet. My best friend told me about it, so I think I should give it a shot.
HCG Diet was totally new to me. I have no idea how it really works so the first time I heard about it I was completely skeptical. I did my extensive research hoping that the HCG Diet would be the right diet for me. It took me almost 3 months to finally say yes to the diet and to fully get myself prepared for the huge challenge I’ll be making. One morning I woke up, and I knew it was the right time.
I was weighing 212 pounds after my gorging days. My first week was kind of hard that I was nearing the edge of giving up. But thanks to my ever-supportive husband who was always there to motivates me when I was about to say no. The next weeks and rounds to follow were kind of fun for me as I see inches off my body particularly on my hip area. I was very excited each day to see how much weight I drop. The different HCG Diet recipes that I have downloaded on the internet, which you can find hundreds of them, are doable and oh so tasty that I even cooked them for my family too.
After 3 rounds of dieting with the HCG, I have lost almost a hundred pounds. I have not done any exercise but my body really changed shape and look sculpted around my waist. The HCG Diet was indeed a very strict diet with tons of restrictions that ranges from eating only 500 calories a day for 26 to 46 days, eating only the approved HCG Diet food, no oils or fats in all forms, etc… However, this diet does have a lot to offer too. It has helped me sculpt my body back without compromising my muscles. It has helped me changed my eating habits for good.
Now, I feel like I am a completely different person not just physically. The way I feel completely changed and it’s hard to explain. I started seeing healthy eating back as a lifelong habit. I am way stronger, confident and have a lot of energy to play with my daughter. Looking back at an old picture of myself, I feel like it was a lifetime ago yet that was only 2 years ago. I realized that if I can lose almost a hundred pounds I can do anything at all.
