Know more about the HCG Diet

The HCG Diet has been grabbing a lot of attention among dieters around the world with promises of dropping a pound or two a week. Along with the promises also comes a lot of questions about its safety and efficacy particularly to those who are new to this diet.

The HCG Diet is a perfectly laid out diet plan with phases to warrant you lost the maximum amount of pounds in a short time. Each phase of the diet has its own rules and foods that you can eat. The most vital part of this diet is the HCG hormone you inject every day, during phase 1 or the loading days and phase 2 or the 5000-calories a day phase. The amount of hormone you inject can vary according to the amount of weight you need to lose and your hunger level.

Many would-be dieters worry about sticking to the diet plan because of fear that it would be too hard and even impossible for them to survive only with 500 calories a day. However, we assure you that when you stick to the protocol, you will feel full and satisfied even on a very low-calorie diet as the hormone is doing its job in resetting your metabolism so your body can utilize its stored fats as a source of fuel.

What you can eat on the HCG Diet

Most of your day’s calories will come from lunch and dinner primarily on protein. Under the HCG Diet plan, you are allowed to have 100 grams of protein choices, as mentioned above, for lunch or dinner. All fats must be trimmed away and weigh raw. Now, there’s no reason why you must choose only one protein option per day. Instead of traditional meat choices per meal, you can combine your protein options. The combinations are endless and each meal can leave you full and satisfied.

You can also have one low calorie fruit and veggie for lunch or dinner. As for the carb option, you can have one piece of Melba Toast or Grissini stick per meal. Like any other diets you are not allowed to eat foods with added sugars like cakes, cookies, ice cream, and chocolates. This plan also doesn’t allow for carb-rich foods like pasta, bagel, donuts, and muffins.

I’m used to having breakfast before going to work since I’m usually so busy in my job. Can I have something besides coffee or tea in the morning? I’m worried I might not be able to focus properly without breakfast.
